Deputies arrest suspect in 2018 Clayton County shooting

Deputies from the Clayton County have arrested a suspect wanted in a 2018 shooting investigation.

Investigators say Keni Romase Gibson was in an altercation with a victim on Dec. 29, 2018. After the altercation, deputies say Gibson fired at least six gunshot rounds at the victim when they were trying to get away in a car.

As the victim fled, investigators say Gibson continued to fire at the car.

After that incident, Gibson was named No. 2 on the Clayton County Sheriff's Most Wanted list.

Deputies arrested Gibson around 3 a.m. Friday without incident in College Park.

He now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless conduct.
