DeKalb County honors women in public safety

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - It's almost the end of March, which means it's almost the end of Women's History Month.

To celebrate in these last days, the DeKalb County Sheriff hosted the Salute to Our Women in Blue event at Grace Church International Thursday afternoon.

It was a luncheon intended to honor women working for the county's public safety agencies.

In the spirit of the event, an all-female honor guard presented the colors.
