DeKalb County CEO Lee May will leave office at end of term

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Interim CEO Lee May confirmed he will leave office at the end of the year.

May's spokesperson told FOX 5 News the former county commissioner will not run for the position in the upcoming election.

May has been under fire for the past few months, after a corruption report accused him of mishandling taxpayer money.

Since the beginning may said the allegations against him were false and he refused to step down.
