Decatur throws a beach party

DECATUR, Ga. - It's officially summer in the city and the city of Decatur celebrated Friday night.

City officials brought the beach into the street for a free event.

There was live music, dance performances, a DJ, activities for the kids, and best of all, an actual beach!

The city brought in 80 tons of sand to cover Ponce De Leon Avenue.
