Daycare van with 8 children involved in accident
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - An accident involving two vehicles, including a daycare van with eight children inside, has left multiple people with injuries, according to the Gwinnett County Fire Department.
The accident occurred around 3:54 p.m. on Friday. Two adults from the passenger car were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center with minor to moderate non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
The eight children were from ages 6 to 10. Seven of them were transported to Eastside Medical Center South campus with minor injury complaints, and one child was picked up from the scene by a parent, according to officials.
The driver of the bus was transported to Eastside Medical with minor injuries.
