'Day of the Dead' event in Atlanta

ATLANTA - Visitors of all ages had the chance to learn about and experience "Day of the Dead" with dancing, crafts, and entertainment.

The Institute of Mexican culture hosted the event to educate the community about Mexican tradition.

The event also pays homage to the deceased through historic dances, face paintings and more.

Organizers say its goal is to bring the community closer together through the cultural experience.

Organizers say they hope the event inspires people in the community to create traditions of their own.
