Couple arrested after violent encounter

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A man and woman face a long list of charges in Bartow County accused of stealing from a home and firing shots into the door.

Officers said Wilmar Perez and Katherine Barlow were arrested after officers found them trying to leave the crime scene on East Pleasant Valley Road last Monday.

Barlow was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and unlawful for an inmate to possess a controlled substance.

Perez faces all those charges, plus several more.
