Couple accused of targeting exotic dancers
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County police have arrested a man and his girlfriend investigators said have been targeting exotic dancers and robbing them for their cash tips.
DeKalb investigators said their first victim was robbed at gunpoint March 6 in the parking lot of her Decatur apartment complex on Park Lake Drive. Police said she was also kidnapped and raped.
Investigators said on March 14, another exotic dancer from the club Follies was robbed at gunpoint as she headed into her Paces Park apartment.
"He put a gun to my chest and kept saying, 'don't look at me' and 'I will kill you if you scream,'" the 26-year-old dancer who didn't want to be identified told FOX 5.
DeKalb police began comparing notes and realized Atlanta Police had a similar case.
They said they tracked suspects Jaquan Lemon and Tori Riascos down in a College Park motel and arrested them.
Atlanta and DeKalb Police confirm Riascos is an exotic dancer too, and worked with all three victims the night of their robberies. Police said she targeted the strippers with huge tips.
Investigators said Lemon has an extensive criminal history in North Carolina. Police said both Lemon and Riascos are from there.
DeKalb police said it is an ongoing investigation.
