Coroner: Man found in RV had been dead for 2 weeks
MACON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a man whose body was found in a recreational vehicle in Georgia had likely been dead for two weeks.
The Telegraph reports (http://bit.ly/2rQuMkM ) that Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the manager of Safe Haven RV Park discovered the body of 51-year-old Joel DeGroot on Monday morning. Jones says the man's girlfriend in New Jersey called the park, saying she hadn't heard from him.
DeGroot had been living at the RV park for about a year. His death is believed to have been the result of natural causes.
