Closing arguments set in Dunwoody day care murder trial
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A DeKalb County jury will begin deliberating the murder charges against Hemy Neuman next week. Closing arguments are scheduled for Monday. Defense attorneys presented their final witness Friday.
Neuman is charged with the shooting death of Rusty Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody day care center in November of 2010. Prosecutors argue Neuman was having an affair with the victim's wife, Andrea. Defense lawyers contend Neuman was insane and the "affair" was a delusion.
Neuman was convicted of murder at his first trial. That verdict was overturned on appeal earlier this year.
