Clayton County man pleads guilty to raping child

CLAYTON COUNTY, ga. - It may have just been the prosecution’s opening statement that had a Clayton County man accused of raping and impregnating a child to plead guilty.

Jose Loo’s changed his plea to guilty for repeatedly raping an 8-year-old girl over the course of several years and impregnating her at the age of 14. DNA evidence pointed to Loo as the father.

The 38-year-old man will serve 25 years in prison without parole and remain on probation for the rest of his life.

He will also be added to the state’s sex offender registry.
