CHOA celebrates Valentine's Day a little early

ATLANTA - It was an early Valentine's Day celebration Thursday for the young patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

The hospital joined up with Walmart to host a patient party.

Walmart volunteers brought supplies for the kids to create different crafts including some personalized flower pots and art pieces.

During Thursday's event, Walmart also handed over a check for more than $850,000 to CHOA.

The company raised the money at its metro Atlanta stores during its 2017 Children's Miracle Network fundraiser.
