Chick-fil-A's Missing Man Table

DALLAS, Ga. - Several Chick-fil-A locations across metro Atlanta honored the fallen men and women of our armed forces by setting a Missing Man Table including one in Dallas which posted the images on Facebook.
The tradition adds a deeper meaning and symbolism to a basic dinner set up. Typically, a missing man table will consist of a white table cloth, a lemon, salt, a red rose, a yellow ribbon, a candle, and a Bible. The chair remains empty.
On their Facebook page, the Chick-fil-A Dallas, Georgia wrote "We will never forget all of the Men and Women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom! Thank you! We have set up a Missing Man Table in honor of all who have not returned from war."
In addition to the table, the restaurant asked patrons to take home a figurine depicting a soldier and place it somewhere in their home to "remind you to pray for the men and women serving our country."
