Case against teens accused of steal car proceeds
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A teenager accused of stealing a mom's SUV with her two young children still inside appeared in court Tuesday.
Police said 17-year-old Khyree Swift and another teen stole the vehicle from a Clayton County gas station during last month's snowstorm.
According to police, the teens eventually left the woman's 4-year-old in the middle of the road and the infant on the side of the road.
Swift's lawyer argued that the other teen, a 16-year-old, was behind the crime.
However, the judge decided there's enough evidence against Swift to continue the case.
