DUNWOODY, Ga. - Police in north DeKalb County are searching for two suspects responsible for a carjacking Friday night.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. on Friday at the Sterling Condos on Peachford Road. The victim says he was followed by a black Infiniti to the complex. That's when a man got out of the car and demanded that the victim hand over his keys.
Dunwoody Police say that officers spotted the victim's BMW a few minutes later and pursued it.
Police said the driver of the Infiniti wrecked the car at the intersection of East Nancy Creek Road and Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, inside Interstate 285.
The driver then took off running and has not been found, according to police.
Dunwoody, Chamblee, and Doraville police were all searching for the suspect using officers and K-9s.
There is no word on the suspects’ descriptions.
