Car theft ends in wreck and foot chase

ATLANTA - Police are looking for two thieves after a car theft and wreck in southeast Atlanta.

Atlanta Police said the crash happened on Wylie Street late Saturday when two men got out and ran from police. Officer Lisa Bender with APD said the pair stole the car from a woman at a gas station earlier in the evening on Ponce de Leon Avenue. The men also crashed into two other cars along the way, leaving people with minor injuries, according to officials.

Investigators canvassed the area of Wylie Street following the crash. But they did not find the thieves. If you have any information on their whereabouts or the case, please call Atlanta Police.
