DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A car went airborne in DeKalb County overnight.
A witness told FOX 5 News the driver lost control, drove up a ramp and crashed into cars parked outside a tire store on Covington Highway.
The driver hit at least three cars, but she was not injured in the wreck. The 34-year-old woman told witnesses she fell asleep at the wheel and woke up at a higher elevation.
The weight of the woman's car left dents and smashed windows of six cars parked outside the Ultimate Tires and Rims Service Shop. They'll now need extensive repairs.
The driver has been charged with failure to maintain lanes.
Thanks to FOX 5 viewer Derrick Wills for sending us incredible photos and videos of the scene.
