Business leaders come together to show support for Atlanta Police
ATLANTA - Business leaders and city officials came together to show support for the men and women who protect the city of Atlanta daily.
The 2016 "Crime is Toast" event was held at the Georgia World Congress Center Tuesday morning. The Atlanta Police Foundation's signature event was highlighted by Mayor Kasim Reed's State of Public Safety address and Atlanta Police Chief George Turner's State of the Force address.
The event was also an opportunity to honor members of the Atlanta Police Department with outstanding service awards, including "Officer of the Year."
This year's honorary chair was UPS CEO and Chairman David Abney.
