Bucs Surprise Children Who Lost Parents in Halloween Crash

Four Georgia children, who recently moved to Florida after their parents were killed in a car wreck on Halloween, received VIP treatment from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend.

The Howard children, ages 13, 10, 8 and 6, made national headlines following their devastating loss and when Georgia State Trooper Nathan Bradley went above and beyond the call of duty to comfort them. Trooper Bradley took care of the kids until their grandmother drove them to their new home in Sarasota, Florida. He even set up a GoFundMe account to help the family cover funeral expenses with a goal of $7,000. Since then, more than $490,000 has been raised. Their grandmother has set up trust funds of $100,000 for each of the kids. 

Our sister station, FOX 13 in Tampa, learned that the oldest of the siblings, Justin, not only has a love for football, but also for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. FOX 13 let the Bucs know and they were happy to orchestrate something special for the family.

The children got a chance to meet the team Friday and attend Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Howards enjoyed a full tour of Raymond James Stadium and got to watch the game in a luxury suite.
