Buckhead break-ins continue

ATLANTA - A Buckhead mother says she tried to shield her young child from the ugly reality of a break-in at their family home.

Since November, neighbors report seeing the same suspicious vehicle leaving the scene of numerous incidents.

FOX 5's Morse Diggs spoke to a victim, who says its past time for the thieves to be caught.

Megan Hasse decided it was time to speak out about crimes in her community.

After the thieves entered her home and took a jewelry box and family heirlooms.

There may be a half dozen or more victims, according to neighbors and the council woman who represents north Buckhead.

Hasse's alarm did go off, but the thieves came into the house anyway.
