Bruce Springsteen signs tardy note for student
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - A young Bruce Springsteen fan, who stayed up well past his bedtime for a Los Angeles show last Tuesday, went home with a tardy note signed by “The Boss” himself.
Springsteen spotted 9-year-old Xabi Glovsky and his father in the crowd. The duo were holding a sign that read: "Bruce, I will be late to school tomorrow. Please sign my note smile emoticon.”
After inviting the father and son backstage, the rockstar penned a note for Glovsky.
"Dear Ms. Jackson, Xabi has been out very late rocking & rolling. Please excuse him if he is tardy,” Springsteen wrote.
