Brookhaven residents evacuated due to townhome fire

DeKalb County firefighters have been forced back from a blaze that's ripping through a private townhome complex because of concerns that more of the building will collapse. 

The fire started around 4:00 a.m. Thursday in Brookhaven.

A neighbor said he heard hissing coming from a porch grill at a unit on East Club Court.  That's when the fire took over half of the building.  

Brookhaven police went door to door to get everyone out.

Fire officials said no one was injured in the fire.
