Birthday cards flood teen's mailbox after viral photo of lonely party

BANGOR, Maine - Remember the photo posted to Facebook of the Maine girl sitting at a table at a bowling alley, eating birthday cake, surrounded by decorations for her birthday, but no guests?
No one showed up for Hallee Sorenson’s 2015 birthday party, but her family said her birthday this year will be extra special.
Hallee’s family asked people to flood the autistic teenager’s mailbox with birthday cards for her birthday this year. And the world has responded!
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, her family showed a photo of the stacks of birthday cards which continue to pour into Hallee, wishing her a happy 19th birthday.
They also reminded everyone that there is still time before her big day July 2. Anyone who wishes to send a card can mail them to:
