Customers have been scaling back on various items and outings, as inflation persists and economic uncertainty grows.

Restaurant menu prices increased 4.1% in the last year, according to the American Customers Satisfaction Index.

Sit-down restaurants are still popular, though satisfaction at these restaurants fell slightly over the last year (2%).
"Customers can become more critical of the quality of products and services when prices increase," ACSI says.
But one restaurant is continuing to take the crown as the crowd favorite.

Texas Roadhouse took the top spot followed by Longhorn Steakhouse for the second year in a row.

Only three restaurants saw a boost in satisfaction over the last year: Applebee’s (+1%), Red Robin (up nearly 3%) and Red Lobster (up 1%). New ownership may be driving that success, ACSI said.
