Barrow County man charged with murder after body found in trunk

A Barrow County man was charged with the murder of a missing man after his body was found in the trunk of a car last Wednesday.

Anthony Woschula, 34, of Winder, was arrested near his home on Chimney Trace Drive. Deputies said they were responding to a missing person’s call, but Woshula due to possible drug charges. He was caught by a K-9 unit a short time later.

Deputies said Woshula led investigators to the location of the missing person’s gold Toyota Camry, which was located at Whitley Road and Kilcrease Road in Gwinnett County. A body was found in the trunk which medical examiner’s office Monday positively identified as Victor Clark, 57, of Fayetteville North Carolina.

Investigators said Clark was a tenant at the home where Woschula also resided.

Woscula was initially charged with obstruction and drug possession. He reportedly had meth on him when he was apprehended. Monday, the charges of murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, concealing the death of another, and tampering with evidence were added.

He remained at the Barrow County Detention Center as of Monday evening without bond.
