Baby found unresponsive in Coweta Co. home
Coweta County deputies are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby who was discovered during an arrest.
Authorities were making an arrest when they discovered the child was not breathing at a home in the 800 block of Smokey Road.
According to Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the sheriff’s office, the case is still under investigation.
The child’s death is being considered suspicious.
Deputies have identified persons of interest, but no arrests have been made.
The child's mother Stacie Lashomb spoke to FOX 5 News just before 10:00 p.m. and shared photos with FOX 5 news.
"I just want answers," explained Lashomb.
