Authorities seek public's help in finding bank robber
RABUN COUNTY, Ga. - The public's assistance is requested to help find a bank robber. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Rabun County Sheriff's Office, and the Dillard Police Department need assistance in identifying the suspect, so they've released a sketch of the suspect, as well as still pictures from the bank's surveillance video.
The robbery happened on February 8. around 12:30 p.m., and authorities said the suspect entered the bank on Highway 441 North in Dillard, and took and undisclosed amount of money. He fled the bank in a late 1990's model black Ford Explorer.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, heavy build, about 6'-2" to 6'4" in height, and had at least one visible tattoo and a facial piercing. They believe him to be in his late 20's or early 30's.
