Atlanta residents call on mayor to help fix blight
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Some Atlanta residents have called on Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to address vacant home issues in her upcoming budget.
Atlanta residents launched the Blight Forward campaign to address the issues.
Tuesday, community members talked about the challenges they're facing including illegal tire dumping and code violations.
Residents hope the campaign will get Mayor Bottoms to roll out Fund Specific Initiatives to fix the issues in their community.
