Atlanta hands off Super Bowl responsibilities to Miami

Super Bowl LIII has come and gone in Atlanta, and now it's time to start focussing on next year's game in Florida. 

The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee officially handed off host city responsibilities to Miami for Super Bowl LIV, the 54th Super Bowl. The handing off took place at a news conference Monday morning.

"We are grateful that you chose Atlanta," Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said. 

Atlanta's host committee said they were extremely proud of Super Bowl LIII's impact, showcasing Atlanta and the city's music scene. 

Super Bowl LIV will be played on February 2, 2020, in Miami Gardens, Florida at Hard Rock Stadium.
