Atlanta area NTEU chapters protest shutdown

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Several metro Atlanta chapters of the National Treasury Employees Union are protesting the shutdown.

Despite Tuesday's chilly temperatures, demonstrators gathered on Chamblee Tucker Road in the afternoon, working to get drivers' attention with signs and chants condemning the shutdown.

Organizers say the government may be shut down, but their bills are still coming so it's imperative they return to work.
