AMS Hosts Children's Charity Governor's Luncheon

HAMPTON, Ga. - The Speedway Children’s Charity Governor’s Lunch took place at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Monday.

FOX 5 Storm Team Chief Meteorologist David Chandley emceed the event which was attended by Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal.

The event raises money for children’s charities, mainly Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

NASCAR driver David Ragan also was at the event.

FOX 5’s David Chandley said he was even allowed to drive the pace car around the track, keeping it under 70 miles per hour.
