NASA tweeted out a photo on Monday of a visible satellite image of the East Coast.

The FOX 5 Storm Team commented that the snowfall can be seen on the ground from North Georgia through Charlotte up through D.C. and New York up towards Pittsburgh. They said the snowfall measures 2 to 3 feet in some areas.

Mount Mitchell in North Carolina received 66 inches of snow in one event.

Astronaut Scott Kelly also sent out some photos of his own from the International Space Station.
