Adopt-a-thon being held this weekend for overcrowded shelters

ATLANTA - LifeLine Animal Project's DeKalb County Animal Services and Fulton County Animal Services shelters are beyond comfortable capacity, with over 800 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens awaiting adoption.

LifeLine is waiving the adoption fee on all adoptable animals Friday, June 22 through Monday, July 25. Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.
