Adairsville baby death investigation

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. - Adairsville authorities are investigating after responding to a call about a nonresponsive infant and finding that baby had died.

Officers said they were called to a home on North Main Street Friday around 9 a.m.

Medics rushed the unresponsive 4-month-old baby to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officials will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death.

Adairsville is just over 50 miles northwest of Atlanta, in Bartow County.
