ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Military families across the country will soon receive USO Family Activity Boxes.
This, thanks to the partnership between Fed-Ex, USO, and the NFL.
Participants put the boxes together Tuesday, at the Georgia World Congress Center.
They're customized with comfort products and include family craft activities that help with healthy habits like managing emotions and overcoming challenges as a family.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis joined in on the box preparation.
He says the NFL is about so much more than the game of football.
And as part of the Fed-Ex Air and Ground NFL Players of the Year Awards, Fed-Ex will donate $40,000 to the USO, in the name of the winning quarterback and running back.
