Abduction alert cancelled for southwest Georgia teen

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. - The child abduction alert for a 15-year-old southwest Georgia girl has been cancelled after being found safe in Texas, according to authorities.

Alexia Mackenzie Leigh Berry, who lives in Bainbridge, Georgia, was last seen in the Georgetown, Texas with her stepfather, Duane Jaso, on Sunday, according to the Decatur County Sheriff's Office. Georgia deputies said Berry was found safe and Jaso was taken into custody.

Authorities said they were found just outside of Austin, in the city of Leander. The full details have not yet been released.
