ATLANTA - A Thursday night shooting in Grove Park leaves two shot and a lot of questions.
Atlanta Police said a man and a 7-year-old child were hit. The man was shot in the back and hand. No word on where the child was shot or the conditions of victims.
Police told FOX 5 News the shooters knew each other and were disputing, but investigators are still trying to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Neighbors said it sounded like the wild west as they laid in bed Thursday.
"I just was laying in my bed and um just heard 'dududududu,' a lot of gunshots and I heard a skid off and run away and then come back the other way and that's basically all I heard," said a neighbor who does not want to be identified.
FOX 5 News cameras were rolling as investigators counted about 60 bullet casing markers in the road on Charlotte Place Northwest. Neighbors said they knew someone was dead after hearing all of the gunfire.
"It's sad it's sad because a baby was injured and it needs to stop. They killing up our kids and they don't have no remorse. It's sad," said the neighbor.
Police are searching for the shooters and ask that anyone with information on their whereabouts call Crime Stoppers.
