Three people were shot on Peachtree Street NW in the Hotel District on March 9, 2024.

All three victims, who appeared to be alert, conscious and breathing, were taken to the hospital.

While police have not mentioned a suspect, FOX 5 met a man who said he witnessed the entire shooting.

"The one guy pulled out a nine millimeter with a very large clip and just, at 45 degrees, just started shooting. I was walking right behind him," said Greg Loman, who was visiting Atlanta from Florida to attend a seminar.

He saw the shooting unfold right in front of him as he was walking back to his hotel.

"I just went to the ground, crawled, went and hid, basically. And then I heard the car get hit by the fire, gunfire coming through the intersection," Loman said.

Police said the 38-year-old woman who was shot in the leg was not the intended target. She was just driving by when the gunfire started.

"Thank God that nobody was killed. I said to the lady in the car, 'There's no doubt that Jesus was with you today,' and she started crying. It was pretty powerful," Loman said.

More video sent to FOX 5 from Clayton Francisco appears to show the intended target of the shooters: two teens sitting on the ground with gunshot wounds.

Loman said he saw the three shooters actually smile when they saw the two teens standing on the street corner.

"I noticed something was odd, the way they kept looking left," he said. "And then the one guy looked, smiled and the other guy on the inside just pulled out the gun and just unloaded."

APD told FOX 5 Atlanta their Aggravated Assault Unit is still investigating.
