17-Year-Old Arrested In Fatal Shooting

An accident or something more sinister?

That's what DeKalb County investigators are trying to determine after a 13-year-old was fatally shot in Lithonia on Idlewood Park late Wednesday. 

On Thursday, 17-year-old Aaron Harcum was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Police tell FOX 5 the 13-year-old was accidently shot in the face and died at the hospital.

Detectives investigating the case determined the teens were in the garage playing with a handgun they reportedly found in the wooded area in the neighborhood.
