1,500 take part in Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K

ATLANTA, Ga. - As many as 1,500 runners and walkers of all ages and abilities joined the Atlanta Track Club and the Atlanta Hawks for the second annual Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K presented by Kaiser Permanente on Saturday at Philips Arena.

Participants had the opportunity to meet the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders, Harry the Hawk and other special guests. The event  also tested participants' basketball abilities with the Hawks Pop-a-Shot Challenge.

Congrats to the overall winners at the Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K Saturday morning.  Atlanta Track Club Elite member Blake Jorgensen broke the tape in an unofficial 15:45 and Christy Cazzola was flew through the chute in 17:00!
