Almost a year after a brutal murder of a 14-year-old boy, the heartbroken mother of Lamar Farlow speaks out in hopes someone can help find his killer.

Farlow was found lifeless inside a home on December 19 on Point View Drive. Clayton County Police said they were called to the scene after reports of a shooting and found the teenager with a gunshot wound.

Investigators are still searching for the people responsible.

His mother tells FOX 5, she was searching for her son that night after he never came home; police paid her a visit to deliver the tragic news.

“How could you look into the eyes of a 14-year-old and take their life?" said mother Latavia Bedford, who described her son as a normal teenager who loved people, hanging out with friends and was about to enter the 9th grade.

Investigators said they've been working to solve the case and need more leads.
