11 arrested in Douglas County car lot drug raid

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - Eleven people have been arrested following a large drug raid in Douglas County Thursday morning. 

Authorities were following up on tips about illegal activity at McDuffie's Auto and Truck Sales on Bankhead Highway.

On two separate occasions, investigators were able to purchase methamphetamine from the business which has been open in the community for some time, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. 

Once deputies moved in on Thursday, around 6 a.m., they started making arrests. Investigators recovered methamphetamine, syringes and other drug paraphernalia. 

The following suspects were arrested:

  1. David Woodall, sales of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  2. Ashley Pryor, sales of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  3. Louis Brown, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  4. John Adams, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  5. George Lowery, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  6. William Shuler, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  7. Brad Norris, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  8. Brittanie Rhodes, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  9. Tara Carter, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  10. Astrid DeBont, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
  11. And one juvenile, possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
