An Atlanta woman is recovering after being pulled unconscious from her burning home.

The fire broke out at an apartment located at 960 Trestle Tree Court in Atlanta's Grant Park neighborhood.

Fire crews told FOX 5 the woman was barely breathing when rescue crews found her.

"Her breathing was very shallow, meaning we needed to provide some intervention in that," Atlanta Fire Sgt. Cortez Stafford said. "We began CPR because her breathing was so shallow."

Thankfully, Responders were able to help the unconscious woman start breathing after she was rescued from the building. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Officials said, only one unit in the four-unit complex was damaged.

There is no word on the woman's condition.

Investigators are working to learn what caused the fire.
