1 dead after shooting on Cornell Boulevard in west Atlanta

ATLANTA - Atlanta police responded to a fatal shooting early Monday morning in the 3900 block of Cornell Boulevard SW.
What we know:
The shooting appears to have occurred shortly before 6 a.m. near Cornell and Dartmouth Drive SW in west Atlanta.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers found a 30-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
