The String Cheese Incident & Umphrey's McGee headline SweetWater 420 Fest

Whether you’re a fan of rock, hip-hop, alternative or even EDM, this weekend’s SweetWater 420 Fest has something to please the music fan in you.  And did we mention there will be plenty of SweetWater brews to go around, too?

The annual SweetWater 420 Fest returns to Centennial Olympic Park from April 20 through the 22nd, bringing a full entertainment lineup of seasoned entertainers, young artists, and comedians to Atlanta.  The festival, of course, is presented by Atlanta-based SweetWater Brewery, which was founded in 1997 and is now recognized as a leading brewer in the Southeast; the SweetWater 420 Fest is held in honor of Earth Day and features Planet 420, a non-profit “environmental village” to pass along information on being eco-friendly.  Along with plenty of SweetWater tastings in the SweetWater Experience Tent, music is the festival’s big draw, and this year’s main stage will be led by popular bands including The String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, and Tedeschi Trucks Band, along with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson.  The festival’s Lyrics & Laughter stage will feature a lineup of up-and-coming musicians and comedians.  A full list of performers can be found here.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at Centennial Olympic Park, getting a preview of this year’s festival and checking out some of the event’s featured entertainers!
