Mutants return to Atlanta for 'The Gifted' season two

ATLANTA - It was one of the top new dramas on television last year, and now, the wait is finally over for fans of the FOX hit “The Gifted.”

“The Gifted” returns to FOX 5 tonight for a second season, picking up from January’s two-hour first season finale.  The show, set in the Marvel “X-Men” universe, stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as parents Reed and Caitlin Strucker, who last season found out their children possessed mutant powers.  The show also features actors Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hyndes White, Coby Bell, and Cherokee County-native Blair Redford, a graduate of Sequoyah High School in Canton. 

“The Gifted” is filmed right here in Metro Atlanta, and Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken recently got a chance to spend some time on-set, chatting with the stars and getting some scoop on the show’s highly-anticipated second season!  You can catch the season premiere of “The Gifted” tonight on FOX 5 at 8 p.m., followed by the season premiere of “Lethal Weapon” at 9 p.m.
