'MasterChef' casting call in Atlanta

ATLANTA - If you think you've got what it takes to make it on Fox's 'MasterChef," listen up!  A casting call is happening in Atlanta and this is your chance to make your culinary dreams come true. Casting producer Janelle Tubs and Lead Culinary Producer Christina Wilson stopped by Good Day Atlanta Friday morning to discuss what they are looking for.  

"MasterChef" auditions are taking place Saturday, September 15, 2018, at The Art Institute of Atlanta on Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs.

Here's what you need to know if you are participating:
Here’s what you need to know:

  • You must bring one prepared dish to be served to the food judges.  Gordon Ramsay's very own culinary team.
  • You will be given three minutes to plate your dish at the casting call location.
  • There will not be a kitchen to cook or warm your dish, so arrive prepared.
  • This is not for those who currently work in a professional kitchen; looking for excellent home cooks.
