Local prop house helps 'dress up' Georgia film productions

What do hit TV shows like FOX’s “The Gifted” and “Star” and Netflix’s “Stranger Things” have in common?  Yes, they’re all produced right here in Georgia — but they also all feature props and set decoration from a Metro Atlanta business.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning exploring Central Atlanta Props and Sets, a local prop house which rents out set dressing and prop items to local film and television productions.  Founded by Bob Lucas four years ago, the business has now grown into more than 200,000 square feet spread over two locations, and has provided items to dozens of high-profile projects including the Oscar-winning film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and the box-office blockbuster Black Panther, and FOX television favorites like “Scream Queens” and Sleepy Hollow.”

Central Atlanta Props and Sets is located at 1557 Saint Joseph Avenue, Suite 300, in East Point (main office) and 675 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Suite 1068, in Atlanta (furniture warehouse).  More information about the business can be found on its website.
