Lawrenceville DIY workshop makes home décor easy
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - They are the unique, elegant touches that can really elevate the home entertaining experience. And now, thanks to a pair of enterprising designers, you don’t have to spend big bucks to get big, bold style at your next party.
Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff are the founders of design company Anders Ruff, founded in 2010 and focusing on graphic design, party style, and more. Six years later, the pair decided to move from the online world to a brick-and-mortar one, creating Anders Ruff (AR) Workshop, a boutique home décor studio which offers classes covering a full slate of DIY projects including making centerpiece boxes, plank wood signs, canvas wall hangings, and more. There are now AR Workshops locations in several states, including a few right here in Georgia. One of them is in Lawrenceville, and was opened by Atlanta native and UGA graduate Tiffany Bennett, who says she knew she wanted to open her own location within just a few minutes of taking an AR Workshop class.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at AR Workshop Lawrenceville, getting hands-on and learning how to make some home décor of his own!
