HOT TOPIC: Should fans be banned from cheering at youth sporting events?

Some South Carolina soccer parents won't be allowed to cheer on the sidelines for games due a ban called "Silent September."

The South Carolina Youth Soccer Association created the noise ban because of "continuing problems" and issues with "inappropriate behavior" on the parents and spectators touchline.

The organization says that the negative behavior on the sidelines has an impact on the youth and on the association's overall referee retention.

What do you think about this rule?
